May is Asian American and Pacific Islander History Month. As part of ongoing efforts to acknowledge, recognize, and honor the diverse histories and backgrounds of California students, staff, and families, CDE will host internal and external events to highlight the history of Asian Americans in this country, with an emphasis on how Asian Americans have contributed to social justice movements.
