The Intern Project (TIP), an initiative of the LA Promise Fund, places high school students in PAID summer internships that match their skills and career interests with a company’s unique values and needs. Students participate in workshops and field trips throughout the summer, supporting their professional development.

SSC Meeting

The School Site Council (SSC) is a decision-making body that represents all stakeholders of the school community. The school principal, teachers, other school personnel, parents and students make up this group; their primary responsibility is to identify common goals and assist the leadership team in establishing a plan to achieve the school's goals.

IUSD presented to the CCEE Governing Board, February 6, 2020

County Administrator Dr. Erika Torres, LACOE support team Megan Locklear and Sandra Naranjo, and California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) partner Dr. Karla Estrada, had the opportunity to present to the CCEE Governing Board, which includes State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond!
